Home baked vs shop bought


Food for thought Have you ever thought why some people prefer home baked cakes to shop bought ones. I for one as a home baker would like to share with you a little bit of what I know. Here is one the reasons why I like my home baked cakes. Simple answer is I know exactly what I'm eating and what I'm serving my clients. There is a massive difference between shop bought cakes and home made cakes. If you ask me, most of my recipe ingredients I can count them in one hand but on the other hand (excuse the pun) when it comes to factory made cakes, I seriously couldn't tell you what most the ingredients are, never heard of them and possibly do not want to know about them. So for all those who ask what the difference is, have a look at the following list below and maybe that can change your mind about home baked goods. My cakes ingredients butter, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla.
